Untouchable
I sit still, waiting
Waiting for blue sunflowers to bloom
When mornings are greeted by the moon
Waiting for the day red flags mean go
And time spent with you will always be slow
I know the closeness, the mere proximity
When eyes and lips speak differently
An open door to nowhere and somewhere
This attraction, this fresh air
Both shared by an unlikely pair
Out of sight, out of mind
I still picture an embrace designed
Just for me
Out of breathe, its quite complex
That the tip tap of your foot steps
Still echo in my ears
Out of faith, out of love
I begin to doubt the man up above
Whether or not you are still within reach
Our end was quite predictable
And this suffering undeniably invisible
It has always been clear
that you are untouchable
